My first Sparc, an Ultra 1 at 143MHZ, and love at first sight. Runs Debian Sarge, for Sparc64 or Ultra, with 128 MB ram. This machine was acquired from the VU (Vrije Universiteit) in Amsterdam, and transporting the 17” monitor that came with it in the tram to get it home was not so easy.

Add sunlance to /etc/modules to activate network during boot with 2.6.x
