Ultra 5

First non-scsi machine, Named Darwin. It has a 440MHZ UltraSparc IIi (Sabre) 64-bits processor, 768 MB Ram, 1x 40 GB Maxtor disk, a DVD&CD-R/RW drive and a Belkin USB2 PCI card.

It booted and installed Debian Sarge (anyone see a pattern here?) by means of netbooting from a tftp-server that runs on Debbie, my Macintosh SE/30.
Its ATI Technologies Inc 3D Rage Pro 215GP (rev 5c) enables it to run in 24-bits mode on my 14” Flatscreen monitor. This is currently my only Sparc that runs a windowmanager(KDE), and I use it for DVD-burning and playing around.
The prom was recently upgraded to the latest 3.31 version by means of netbooting the upgrade installer, again booting from the SE/30.
